So this forum is dead. Maybe we can spark some interest with a meet and greet? I'm in the Seattle area and would be willing to organize something if anyone else is interested. Maybe some light wheeling in Yakima or somewhere down South in WA? Anyone else have any thoughts?

Hey man. So have you ever done any wheeling around here? I've only done forrest service roads, I'd love to get up to Naches Pass or something though

I'm planning on going to Naches Pass Friday 10/21 if anyone is interested. I have Thursday and Friday off and can't get weekends off unfortunately

Change of plans, won't be going until 10/28. Provided there isn't too much snow it should still be open.

I'm in the Seattle/Fremont area... I'd like to do a get together and do some wheelin' some time. Getting to the top of Capitol Peak in the Capitol Forest has been fun on a few occasions for me. Pretty sure you won't get far without a lift though for those that don't. But there is still some fun stuff to be had out there... at least I think so.

Looks pretty nice. Where's that at? I've never heard of it before

Naches run ended up not happening. With the snow up there I didn't feel comfortable making a run without a winch and open diffs. I'm hoping to go up next year when the trail opens back up. Maybe we can set up another run then with a little more advanced notice. :JEEPIN:

When did you go?

I went in June, and couldn't find any "Jeep" trails in the forest. I hit a trail head further east than Elma, and tried some quad trails but found out they closed it to Jeepers.

arengant,

I have gone up there I'd guess about 7 times this year thus far. It's about a 6-7 mile drive out of Elma, then I'd guess about 10 miles of driving in the forest to get to that specific spot.

That pic was taken in July i think.
