Post subject:  Lift shops in BC (lower mainland)

Hey all,

I live in the lower mainland BC and drive a 2008 KK Liberty and i'm looking to finally put a lift on her :D :D :D
My question is, do any of you have any recommendations for local places that will do a good job of putting a lift on it? (I have very limited experience with installations etc so doing this myself is not an option).

Looking at putting a 2.5 inch lift on her.

Sorry if I have missed a post that answers this already but I have looked for an answer that might already exist in previous posts but have not found any (none related to lower mainland shops).

I would much appreciate any input, Thanks!

I know someone who had a lift done on an 07 Grand Cherokee CRD recently. He had it done at a shop in Abbotsford. I'll see if I can find out who the shop was. Stay away from North Shore off-road....overpriced.

Have a look here:
http://www.jeapthrillscustoms.com/

And stay away from North Shore 4X4. They don't consider KJ's or KK's Jeeps and to top it off they are retarded enough to state that Old Man Emu coil springs can only be fitted/installed with OME shocks and that any other shock will not work properly with OME coil springs!!!
Like I said... RETARDED!

Okay..he said he used Big Country Customs in Abbotsford, but would not recommend using them again. Too many headaches dealing with them.

Thanks for the advise,

I have actually already ordered the OME lift through http://www.jeapthrillscustoms.com/ . Just waiting on parts (3 week wait). Ordered it almost 2 weeks ago now.

I will let you all know if they do a good job etc...and also post pics of course.

Also should probably post this separately but do you people around here do any trail runs etc? anyone interested?

Thanks again.

I know a shop whose owner is a jeep guy without pretense.

Try monkeynutz.ca

located in Burnaby, and he is completely into custom work and projects. They do mostly drift-race/street cars, but his daily driver is a commanche. They are not stuffed shirts like some shops and are definitely Forum friendly.

Good Luck
