I hope everyone is enduring well, this little Huff N Puff we're having over here. Unusual that all US coasts are occurring high wind storms at the same time.

This household is doing fine. We've bumped 112mph a few times but nothing especially serious. Lost a bit of steel roofing from the old barn, but it's been mostly disused for several years. The 1+ inch per hour rains are making things interesting, but flooding is minimal so far. We've still got apples on the Winter Banana trees in the orchard. Ya really don't want to be downwind from them unless you LIKE getting bruised up.

Forecast says it's supposed to hit 130+ mph tonight. Should be interesting. I've only seen that once before when I was a kid. Yesterday we had a few MASSIVE waterspouts within a couple miles or shore. At least they didn't head inland and suck up beach sand. It's horrible for anything painted that they pass over/by.

At least it's all mostly SW winds. The main force doesn't change direction like the east coast hurricanes.

Hang in there and be well.

Everything is pretty quiet right now.
Wind around 30mph, and the rain is just occasional at this location.
Waterspouts are common enough in the Pacific, but not that big, and hardly ever within sight of land.
I Have Dr. Appts later today that involve a 40 mile drive along Coast Hwy 101.
Should be interesting to see what happened last weekend.
There are some areas recently "maintained" by the local Utility Company that I'm betting dropped some trees, but at least the power never went out here. That's unusual for this kind of storm, so I suppose it's a "win" for them.
