Well guys, the Midwest group had such a good time the last two times we were in Daniel Boone NF that we are going for thirds. Some of the Chicagoland boys are going to try to meet up with the Ohio Valley sub-chapter in February. Folks are talking about Presidents Day weekend (wheel that Saturday and drive home on Sunday, then still have a day for family). Anyways, Just wanted to invite anyone who might be interested. Livingston i 49 miles north of the KY-TN line on I-75. It's about 2 hours from Knoxville, 3.5 hours from Asheville, Nashville, Charelston or Chattanooga, and 5 from Atlanta

Also, looks like we're going to split into lifted and unlifted for this run. Got KJs from IL, IN, KY, MI, OH, and a maybe from PA going down. Any of you guys close enough? Want to wheel with the Midwest group? It'll be fun...

Post subject:  my first ride

That was the place of my first 4x4 ride ever! It was an awesome place. There are caves in the park big enough to park several liberty's! There are water falls too. And lets not forget the natural bridge. I went with a Jeep Jamboree. Maybe I can find out what trails they road on. It would be a great trip. Also too the Lexington Jeep Dealership owner is an off roader and is an awesome place to go if you need repair. I broke down on the trail and he fixed it and had me back on the trail the same day!! He pushed me to the head of the line and because it was covered under warenty it cost me nothing. What a guy!

Boy I would love to go. Maybe we can get some of our new riders to join us too. It would be an great trip. Who's interested from GA??!!!!

Natural Bridges is an awesome are to wheel. Been there twice. Possibly better than Livingston, but it has been closed down thanks to the environmental activities and local yahoo's. That is why the Jeep Jam last year at Slade was canceled.
