I went up to Windrock OHV Park near Oak Ridge, TN over the weekend to help with the pre-run for the LOST East Coast Safari (August 8-10, 2008). It was lots of fun and I encourage any and all of your to join us for this event.

On the way back I swung over to Fort Mountain and finally got to run Tatum Lead. I did the entire 7.2 mile trail in 2WD but did need to be in low-gear for a bit of it. I actually took more damage (a dent and some bad pinstripping on the driver's size) here than I did at Windrock.
(the trail is VERY narrow in places and obviously not a lot of non-ATVs bother running it)

It took me about 1.25 hours to get in and about .75 to get out for a good solid 2 hours to cover 14.4 miles. While not particularly difficult for a modified rig this would be a GREAT run for a stock vehicle or even a modified one without a lift.

Also good for the family run if staying at Fort Mountain State Park or picnicing in the area!!!
