YES it's going to be May 2nd ... Only 1 person said NO on the poll I posted but they didn't even comment so they don't count! It looks like its going to be a small ride but that's cool with me ... I just wanna get out and play!

Nah, this is my first weekend NOT doing school work since January, so I am going to break apart the front of the KJ again and finish it.

If I get super lucky (not likely since I have not done yard work in a month LOL), I have a set of Hella 500s to install on the front bumper, I need to trim the front aluminum cross-bar (hack-saw love!!!!), and I have a RockCrusher rear diff cover to install as well, but I will probably wait till my next oil change and do a complete Amsoil fluid change...

And lets not even get into the re-fi of the house, fixing it up, turning it into a rental, finding a place to live in Athens, moving, and being ready to start my doctoral research assistantship at UGA on Aug. 1st...

I know, TMI...... :)

Maybe I'll get those LOST business cards done this weekend...

Yeah, unfortunately that seems to be SOP for what I have seen so far in the almost two years I have been here. Heck, I know the folks out of the FL and Midwest groups better than I know any of the folks in GA.

JB in the ATL, dudes me and Rock Lobster started this chapter, but I hadn't been able to get out much lately. I met you Colbalt at 23rd Appalachain, your rig rocks with it's bad self. I still want to do the clevis and isos and I keep wavering between moving to a TJ Rubi or keeping the KJ since it does everything I've ever asked it to do. We rode up in Dawson Co a couple of weeks ago and I realized how much I miss it. Anybody want to do Beasley Knob before it gets hot?? -JB

Hey, JB. I had wondered what happened to you.

"Bunny" has been seriously "modified" (both intentionally and unintentionally) since you last saw her. Trust me...

I am prepping right now to move to Athens (going back to school for my Doctorate this Fall), so don't have a lot of time, but would love to go do Beasley before I leave town. Last time I checked, most of the trails in N. GA. were closed, but currently they appear to mostly be open:

Yeah, I have been a real slacker on that...

I have not taken pics of her since I got back from Windrock last August (she still has mud in the floorboards from then)....

Maybe I will clean her up this weekend and take some pics.... Or you can just come by and see her...

Okay, here is one from the East Coast Safari 2008 at Windrock:

That is the Blue Bunny, me, and my "Bunny Girls" -- my part time navigators -- Sierra (Yellocoyote's daughter) in front and Ashley (Moose's daughter) beside me. :D

Don (pixeldzn) at PixelDecals.com did it for me custom... Who else...

Cool!!!! Planning to put it in on Monday...??? If so, let me know, I have an angle drill (unless my buddy has it) to do the rear spring perch for the bumpstops...

Momentarily hijacking the GA thread...

Those pics look familiar.

Talk everyone in to coming up for Windrock again in October - the more the merrier, right?

Colin - we were talking about you yesterday... did you ever get your 'new' body damage on your drivers rear fixed after the tree incident?

/hijack

Well, I did give you credit for them, didn't I?

I'm working on them, trust me!!!!!

Have not gotten around to it with school, refinancing the house, throwing stuff out, making plans to move, etc., etc., etc. Plus I am thinking that I may actually find a better and cheaper bodyshop in Athens then I could find in Metro-Atlanta...
