All in all, it was a good day and a half (though it was 104 F degrees on Monday and only went down to 100 F degrees by 9PM).
Greg and I left Atlanta at 7AM and made it down to Albany to meet Terry by 10AM (he had come over from Jacksonville the night before). We wheeled by the Flint River until noon, went for lunch, and then wheeled some more and met Mike at the motel at 2PM.
We then went and wheeled until 4PM when Greg left to come back to Atlanta, and we went to the motel and cooled off till 5PM when Rob came and joined us for dinner. After Dinner Rob took Mike and I out to the Sand Dunes where we wheeled until 9PM and then called it a night.
Mike and I met Terry and Rob back at the River at 730AM the next morning and wheeled till about 11AM when we all went our separate ways.
I do have to say that Rob is right, there is a wide variety of different types of terrain there to practice different technical off-road driving skills all in a very compact series of trails. Much fun was had by all.
I only took a few pics (which I will get up soon), but Terry and Greg took a bunch more. Hope to see theirs soon too...
