Looking for a wrench in GA

My brother lives out in near Villa Rica, GA (west of Hotlanta). He has an 05 CRD and might need some help working on it. A Stealership in NC stripped out his drain plug and refused to fix it (long story). I'm trying to find someone to help him drill/tap and Fumoto it. Anything would be helpful, either help with driveway work, or info on a reputable mechanic near him.

I'd also like to see what the opportunities he has in GA for performing the diesel mods (EHM, ORM, etc., etc.) while making sure he will pass any GA State regs. Any info/help would be greatly appreciated!

dgeist is running an oil burner and he is ATL local. Don't know of any others. Personally, I have no experience working on the CRDs, but listening to JLRockies at the 2008 ECS and the problems he had post-run getting back to FL, they scare me a little... :shock:

I'm live in Dunwooody GA and would be happy to show off any of the mods I've made. I'm probably not the best person to tap the oil pan for you but I can share my experiences.

I've seen no issues with emissions since the CRD doesn't have to have it done. As for vehicle inspections, GA has none.... (sometimes I wish it did for some of the POSs out there...).

I live in Marietta (on the northwest corner of ATL) and would be happy to help him wrench. I have a pretty good assortment of tools and enough driveway space between the other jeeps to squeeze in a libby.
