I'm gonna be installing my Daystar 2.5 lift kit myself. Don't have any experience with jeeps and was wondering if anyone would be available to help me out? I'll supply beer and have the grill going. Just wondering what I need to make this a smooth install. Thanks

I'm sure there is an install thread somewhere on here. Take a look in some of the older posts.

When and where? My son and I installed my Daystar 2.5 " lift and learned a lot on this site. Check out this thread. viewtopic.php?t=26190 Very helpful.
We're fixing to pull the 454c.i. in his '71 Chevelle SS so he can start the rebuild but I'm sure we can spare a day to help...especially when there's a beer bribe involved. :pepper: Let me know.

Great tech article. I'm going to go off those directions. I'm hoping to install on Saturday. My break braket extensions should be delivered tomorrow. Just not sure where yet. My driveway is at in incline. Try'n to find a flat driveway today. I will be taking the struts off and then taking them up to my local good year so they can take them apart and reasemble them with the new hardware. Should cut the install to 3 hours. ( I hope ) I know it's very short notice but will apreciate any help. And yes beer will be supplied.

Ouch! My son and daughter are coming over Saturday, 04/10/10 for bbq ribs on the "barbee" and while here Scott and I are going to unbolt the engine in his Chevelle (parked in my yard) and get it ready to pull. I suspect Summer will help also (redneck girl). Sorry, man. Good luck on the lift. Make sure you've got good, strong ratchet straps...indispensable.

no worries. A BBQ sounds much better than lifting a jeep anyways. Enjoy the weekend

Don't use the suggested torque specs as they're not for an '06. I'll find my old post that has the correct specs and get it to you.
