O.K., all you Georgia folks. ECS 2010 is October 1-3. Go to to the L.O.S.T. Events section, get on the ECS 2010 blog and SIGN UP! You CAN NOT miss this one. If you truly want to wheel this is the place to do it. You'll be with like minded people who have run these trails before and who have the experience, patience and equipment to help anyone get through, just ask "dgeist" (tell 'em about it Dan). Accommodations are close, affordable and plentiful. Please try your hardest to attend...you won't regret it.

Yep, the caveat is that if you have little experience, at least plan on bringing some common sense with you :) I like to think that I made up for trail inexperience with a little bit of knowledge of math, science, and the outdoors. 'Course, about half way through the first day, everyone there feels like a seasoned veteran anyway :)

BTW, 2WD might actually work if you're lifted. There were a few spots that would have not been possible, but not all the trails are that technical. If you had 2WD and a winch, I'd call that money.

lol Mag i'll help you through as best as i can, by that time i'll have a high lift and i already have a tow strap and i've got plenty of chains in NC for the HI lift so we can use that like a winch for you... very very very slllloooowww winch.... and if you can find a come along that is tested for higher than 1000 lbs that would work too... much quicker than an hi-lift... but i believe you guys will be able to count me in on this one... i'm going to go ahead and sign up for it now... i will be ready!!!... ... ... well... i hope...
