I'm planning to design a webpage for all those jeepers from the state of Sonora, in Mexico. Hope it works.

Pretty cool. Let me know when it is up and running. I live in Phoenix but travel to Hermosillo frequently.

hey durangotang, in what date you want to come? there are several bike events in the state all year, for example there a rundown, not a race(but people get racy). 2 days events: 1 day its 20 miles run with a very hard climb and downhill, 2 day its longer but easier, its around 28 miles, in flat terrain, but its son nice, that you cross rivers and small towns. can do it in a xc to enduro bike. april 19-20.
i dedicate most of my free time for mountain bike, and im a president or chief of a MTB club.
here is our website
http://www.adrenalina.mx

we just went this weekend to friend ranch, we call it "fat ranch", and did some cruisin and DH, here its a video in HD of the DH, note the spectacular view
1stpart:

2nd part:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uVetU4Gmv0E&feature=related

for the wheelin part, im not part of any club(yet),, but i can easly contact some of the local big boys offroaders and chat and arrange a trail run. and thinking bigger, we can set a LOST run here. you are a big name here in lost, and other members can put atention to you. this group its called "CUATREROS OFF ROAD" and the HQ its in my city. this guys now almost every trail of the state.
check the website:

and some galleries:

let me know if i dont explain myself......rusty english

i belive it is to hot in june for the weather you are used to. espect 100 degrees, and more in july and agust. october its still hot but ok. and it ll me nice if you bring your DH bikes, but im afraid you'll get dissapointed for our DH trails. i recomend that you come with a all mountain-enduro, or light freeride. for example bikes in my group:
canondale moto
scott ransom
transition bottlerocket
chumba evo & xcl<---mine
giant ac1
trek remedy
gt sanction
marin mount vision
rocky mountain slayer
alot of specialized stumpys, trek fuel
a more hardtail bikes.

xc & all mountain trail, are most comun, some drops.
