I wouldn't trust that. For somebody who supposedly designed that chip as their design project, you'd think he'd have more than a single graph (linked to from somebody else's site, as far as I can gather). Oh, and I wouldn't trust that seller, either. They apparently purposely and admittedly overcharge for shipping and only send the product with a stamped envelope. Here is their negative feedback: 9thwondra |

I would be curious as to what it's really doing. Someone with a logic probe and some time could probably figure it out... If much of anything, it probably just leans out the fuel mixture... |

It's not a chip, it's just a resistor that messes with a sensor value. You may see a little bit higher performance in exchange for a rougher running engine, but it will quickly return to normal as the KJs PCM is adaptive and designed to adjust for any "funny" inputs. Don't waste your money. |

Ok, the picture I saw then must have been this guys "rig" tacked onto two legs of one of the ECMs ICs... I didn't plan on buying one. I did some looking around other non-Jeep forums and came accross quite a bit of dope on this thing... It seams that his customer service a total crap plus he is either very dissorganzied and/or isn't interested in standing behind it. I knew some engineers back in college who disigned interesting little devices that indeed worked very well, but those were gearned mostly around turbo boost/waste gate timing, etc... So, at first, I was willing to give him a chance, but not after what I read. It is SAD that the KJ is being overlooked by the tunner mfgs... And, full custom tunning is just say too expensive... Thanks for the input. |

Actually custom programming is only about $450. Makes a pretty noticeable differance too. |

Really, any recommended vendors with KJ experience? I'm interested in power and some economy... That’s about what I'm paying to tune my excursion. |

I got mine done by B&G Chrysler. It's an aggressive flash with the torque management turned off. With it, I put 252 hp and 301 ftlbs torque to the ground on a Superflow dyno with the 75 shot with an air/fuel around 10.9. Could have easily gotten another 20 hp out it by leaning it out a bit. |
