Thing sounds pretty good...at an 1/8 mile track it could be pretty quick...

Probably not the best for the Transfercase in 4LO or if you have to make an evasive move...but shows what gearing or gear reduction will do.

Doesn't he sound like he shifts gear when he is coming back?
I wonder if that's really in 4LO.
And if he is not shifting, and taking his foot off the gas, it should slow down immediately.. Weird, but great JEEP!

Dang, right.. I think of all cars with AT..
the question is, should you shift in 4 lo and does the clutch disangage tranny along with 4lo? otherwise there should be engine braking... :?:

I thought it would mess up the gears if you kept going.
And that's why the manual said shift to 1 instead of D.. It might be acceptable in very deep snow or puddles/mud, but manual suggests even not to drive in 4HI under normal conditions, let alone 4LO.

Nevertheless, I LOVE my 4LO in snow, it feels like "what snow"?

I do not let mine shift out of second when in 4low.. It lets the clutches slip ALOT so it doesnt BANG into gear..
