nope, just had to reset the computer.

How did you reset the computer? I read the installation guide for the stage II and it doesn't say anything about reseting the computer? But it does say to completely remove the ECM from the jeep....did you remove it completely, or didn't you just remove the negative battery terminal and the connectors to the ECM?

I run 92/93 octane 100% of the time,
Why ?

If your Jeep is NOT detonating, then your just making the Oil companies richer. The only difference in the gasoline grades IS the octane level.
I have the JET stageII chip and run premuim all the time also,my KJ doesn't run right without it,pings like crazy with 85 octane at 10,000+ feet on the trails. You can tell a big difference with the chip and without it,I have removed it for a while and my KJ ran like a dog so back on it went.

What do mean you had to reset the computer? I read the installation sheet and it said to remove the ECM from the vehicle, which I dont understand b/c on my 2008 KK the ECM is VERY easy to get too. Does removing the ECM reset it? I just figured I'd remove the negative battery terminal, remove the 4 connectors to the ECM, place the Jet Module on the 3rd connetor (from the left), put the connectors back on, then put the battery terminal back on..........and be good to go?

Great, thank you. Question, what is the deal with the low temp thermostat? Is this a necessity...what does it really matter? I can understand if you have a race car, and are taking it to the track, but is it really necessary to change the thermostat if you are just using the chip on a Jeep?

don't sweat it, they don't exist. Jet doesn't make one, neither does anyone else that I could find.
