If your after market exhaust drones... What RPM range, how bad does it drone? Anything you've found which helps?

I'm debating on keeping my aero turbine 2525 vs sending it back for a 2525 xl (resonated). It drones loudest at 1600 rpm, jumps the interior volume from very mellow, so the point cell phone conversations would be difficult and annoys you after a little bit.
Once warm it's less of an issue, but for the first miles through town it just seems to find the rpm range that it drones in.

Any experience or ideas would be great

Thanks
Dave

My flowmaster 40 drones at about 2000 rpm (rough estimate) only when I tap on the pedal and keep it pressed. Whenever I let go if the pedal, it stops. It does vibrate everything. I don't mind it at all. It's quiet compared to my previous vehicle, a 2001 Camaro SS.
