Hi Guys I'm New to the forums here I just Bought a 2wd 07 Liberty (3.7L) and I LOVE it !!

However, Is it Ok to tag along with the 4x4 Guys on trail rides ?? (Permitting I could even get thru some of the stuff)

I plan on lifting it 2.5 (Rusty's) and Putting on some MOAB (Rubicon) Wheels / Tires to help out my 2wd Handicap

I live in Moreno Valley, CA So I do Know of some trails I know the Libby could handle I just want some input on how far I can take it with a 2wd Liberty.

Thanks Guys !!!!

Troy.

Install a DTT (Detroit TruTrac) LSD in the rear and you will be surprised how far you can go...just realize your limitations expecially without 4x4 and 4LO.

Also you should have tow hooks at both ends and carry your own strap...as a courtesy.

Trails are usually "Rated" from 1 to 5. Once you hit 3-3.5+, 4WD is usually needed with a lift. 4+ usually needs to have 32's or bigger. 4.5+ usually requires lockers front and rear...ect ect ect

There are plenty of trails you can do in 2wd but a locker will help a lot. Watch the LOST JEEPS forum section for So-Cal runs as there will probably be some easier ones that you can come to and we will help get you through the rough stuff.

That right there is a Happy Jeep! Who says you need 4wd to have fun in a Jeep.
I always thought it would be cool to see a Baja edition 2wd, pre-runner style KJ w/ tube bumpers, lift and nice rims & tires, rear locker, etc.

Well, I think I'll be doing that so... I just don't want the front higher than the back like a Pre-Runner Truck.

Here's a pic of my hood logo... MUDDY !!
