Not a fan of K&N but the rest of it is killer, I have something similar in mind but with an Amsoil filter

BUT is the 3 inch intake enough air coming in, on the test that I have done with only a 3 inch intake you could hold your hand 4 to 6 inches in front of it and feel it sucking your hand back in when at 1/2 throttle, granted going down the road it would suck in more air due to the air being pushed into it but......currently I have a 3 inch hose along with the stock set up

Hey Explr1: You should use the K&N Drycharger it´s made of polyester keeps dirt and water (spray) out

I never go into deep water ! that´s why i put these kind of intake; No car is made to go into deep waters !!!!!

I have almost three years using K&N and i love it !! I always use the K&N drycharger, it´s inside the apollos.

I Change the oil every 3107.52 miles (5000 KM) and thats work for me

Salud !

Ohhh yes Tommudd that thing suck your hand like crazy !!!

The 3" are enough for the Liberty, the K&N people says: The Apollo is ideal for normally aspired engines up to 250BHP and turbo engines up to 350BHP. It comes with a standard 70mm base flange with a range of optional stepped adaptors available to allow fitment to other intake sizes.

Tommudd Don´t worry about the 3 inches diameter it´s fenomenal, look 2.75" it´s enough for engines up to 350 hp !!

Salud !

If I had that on my jeep, I would've hydrolocked it the first time I took it wheeling (and probably any time thereafter as well)...
