Put a 4.6L 3v SOHC Ford V8 into your KJ and run whatever exhaust he's running.

besides that way. do you think the exhaust alone would give me something to that effect? and i keep seeing the off road x pipe come up in the exhaust mods. what its that?

There's a big difference between loud and sounding good.

If you want loud, this is what it'll sound like catless http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kna3C-Az8Tc

But you're looking at 5 grand in federal fines if you're caught (2500 per cat) Other than that do you want to increase external loudness or in cabin? I can't believe you want the liberty to be louder... Mine can get pretty loud in cabin.

just go open headers and stop worrying about if my KJ can sound like that cut that crap off at the "Y" and then whala, you have that sound. the sound of your vailves taping and the sound of your engine breaking. but hey, its what you want.

to start with you need a v8 swap to get you kj to sound anywhere close to that. v6 just wont do it.

Just run dual straights and if that's not loud enough for you its definitely too loud for the neighbors, especially if you have the yaris and prius tree hugger neighbors like i do, i guess i should just get a sticker that says "wasting the gas your hybrid saves" :D
