Hello all just thought i would drop you guys a line about a product i just picked up. Its called the scan gauge 2. Its pretty cool, nothing like the jet chip or any, preformance enhancers but does alot of cool stuff; MPG,MPH,RPM clears trouble codes,KM, and you can even make your own programs in it to find out your coolant temp. etc... Thought i should buy it so i could see the preformance increase as i buy my K&N cold air, Magnaflow and jet chip :D :D
linky to the website  http://www.scangauge.com/

What does your SG say when you input the engine and fuel data and you drive 10 miles for the cost of the trip?

I am curious if the calc is the same...

Mine says to much. :(

Ive found that running with O/D off uses a lot more gas than just letting it shift into 4th though. Ive been getting 12-13mpg running 3rd all the time in the city. Going to try it with O/D now.

How much does it say when you start a trip after you've inputted your engine, tank etc info and reset it when you fuel up.

When I start the vehicle and drive 10 miles, it sayes a few dollars already

Now I am rethinking about driving around the block to find parking!!!

Yea, its around $.50 per mile or so. Depends on the mpg youre getting at the time.
