As of tomorrow I will be done with my window tints.

Currently I have 5% ontop of factory on rear doors and side windows (not tailgate glass) and 35% on front doors. I plan on getting the front doors replaced with a 2% to match the rear better, and getting my windshield glass done 1/2 way down with 2% and the bottom half with 35%. My new tint guy has been in business for nearly 25 years, so hopefully it will turn out well.
When it gets done I will post up some pictures.

Anyone else get their windows tinted darker?

And yes, it is illegial in michigan to have front windshield and doors tinted 4" down from the top, but I have a medical permit, so its ok.

I don't know the %, I just told them to match the fronts to the rears. I had a clear bra put on at the same time.

2%!!. thats so pointless. You couldnt see through that with a flashlight at night. A limo has 5%. My goodness your crazy and i would love to see pics of that. You wont even be able to see out of the windshield at night with that tint on it!!

Oh, and I decided that 2% half way down was kinda a waste, but perhaps in the future I will want it.
And the windshield only has 35% not the 2% and %5(ontop of factory) that the rest have.

Do you find its harder to wheel with the tint since it makes it hard to see?

slightly, around 4pm when it starts to darken up it is noticible, but durring the day (if sunny) it is ok. It isnt bad enough that i regret getting it though. Also, it took a lot of getting used to, when i let my gf drive it she had me look out to see if anyone was in the blind spot, as it is very dark.
