Hey guys, I am getting a Flowmaster 40 series tomorrow for sure, but I am unsure of what to do whether I should do a single, or a dual outlet. I was thinking doing dual outlet with dual dumps, but I am not too sure if it would sound good. I need some advice, and if it involves changing brand of mufflers no thanks I like Flowmasters.

when I replaced mine I just did a single outlet and welded the new muffler in and welded a down-facing tip to the end and called it good, so my new muffler set-up ends about 12" before the axle.

anyways I would just do a single.

Do you have a flowmaster? I kinda wanted to do duals, my sister thinks that would sound deep but I don't know. That's why I need some more advice so I far I got a total of 1 Single and 1 Dual vote.. So I need more input.

no I went with the cheap Thrush Turbo, it has a nice deep sound and it was only $30.

I dont think it having dual outlets would make it have a lower sound

Duals will not deepin the sound any and most places will not run dual tips on a KJ due to the limited space on the drivers side.

Why? ..Changing everything I own to Magnaflow.. Flowmasters have failed me too many times.

..Dual outlet will make it sound slightly deeper; probably not enough to notice, though, unless side-by-side.
