I have a k&n intake and a flowmaster super 44 offroad muffler and I'm very pleased with the sound my kj makes. Has anyone combined the jba headers with these two?? If not do you guys think the sound/power output will change much at all?? Thanks

Nope. Never happened.

Anyways, the exhaust note will probably get deeper, and you might gain 2hp and 1mpg. Buy them, drive to Buffalo, and we will have an 'install party' (looking to add them also).

I know there is one guy, in Saudi Arabia or someplace over there, that got the JBA headers custom installed. Mine are still in a box because they won't fit my early KJ and no one around here will do a custom install of them until my cats are out of warranty. They'll be going on this summer with new high flow cats.

Yes, I am, I did it long time a go, but, the the mix is Borla dual outlet, with JBA headers and customized collectors.
It sounds crazy, and I am happy with the performance too.
For me I think intakes do nothing, so I reinstalled the original again.

Gotta agree on that! KJ intake works fine for the small displacement. Only gain would be to get cold air in for Outside the engine compartment and even that isn't going to gain much.

SS, do you have pics of your headers and exhaust setup?
