I am wanting to make my interior red because my exterior is black. Would I use Vinyl Dye for that or what? I know where I'm getting the red carpet and my headliner will be custom fabricated by a local shop with Teas Tech Emblem in it. As far as the dash and all that how would I go about this? I've tried that Krylon Fusion Paint before and it sucks... If a dye is the way to go then someone let me know what I should get. Thanks!

I want to dye the dash but not all of it just the outer layer stuff.. I want it to be red on the inside of my jeep and when you walk out it's black kinda like a two tone..

ha-ha... Seriously though I'm gonna do it.. and I have the seats covered, it's going to be custom red leather with the Texas Tech emblem embordered in the middle of the head rest. By the way yes I know I can't spell.. :P

LOL. As long as you can spell Red Raider, it's all good!

For the dash, I would say the safest and cleanest way to do it would be to take out the pieces you want red, clean them, prep them, spray with adhesion promoter, then spray them red. Then re-assemble it all.

Long Tall, man if I couldn't spell Red Raider I would be ashamed... Anyways thanks for the idea man.. I actually might go with a vinyl dye that I found at an automotive store and buy an extra dash piece from a broken jeep at a junkyard to test it on..

hmm.. I seem to remember the outcome a little differently than you do I suppose.. 8 seconds on the clock.. Graham Harrell snaps the ball he drops back it's to Micheal Crabtree OH MY GOD.. He caught the ball and stiff armed a longhorn and juked it in to the endzone GAME OVER TEXAS TECH WINS TEXAS TECH WINS!!!! 33 to 39!!! Yeah.. I remember it quite well infact so well it's a ringtone on my phone because of the announcer's comments at the beginning of the game..
  Sorry but had to point it out! :D

but then again.. *sigh* we choked to Oklahoma who then choked against FLORDIA..Chomp Chomp shall I say.. and just so you know L.O. the Longhorns barely beat Ohio St.. I shall say this though this coming year Texas will have a tough time against OU, OSU, Texas Tech and I hate to say their name but Kansas. Reesing is a hell of a quarterback and I expect him this year to really put up some numbers...
