Will the grill from a 05-07 .. i think i just answered my own question by lookin at a picture of mine

anyway i'll ask anyway to see if someone has an idea

I'd like to add 2 fogs or projectors similar to whats in the grill on the 05-07's

it looks like due to the 03's fascia, particularly below the headlights, the 05's grill won't work

aside from mounting them below, or ontop of the center of the bumper, whos got somethin similar goin on?

I need a new grill which was why I was initially hopeful of just being able to swap it up but I see that's not going to work, my grills kinda busted, intact,, but busted heh

i dont think there is any room to mount lights other than th factory location, or a bumper mount like the 05-07 renegades. looks like you allready have the light bar, seems to me its either mount them on the cowl, or behind the grille

and if you fabricate an 05-07 grille to fit, you would have to cut out the part were the fogs mount anyways

i dont mind the step bars at the moment, dont need them for steps even for messin around on the roof cause i usually end up standing in the door anyway, theyll come off when i start to fab rails, the basket simply needs to come off, only reason it hasn't yet is because my antenna is mounted to the slot rail thats mounted on the inside of the basket

i guess the nice thing about the rubbermaid is that it does hide the antenna mount when i dont have my antenna on

Well if you truly wanted an 05 grille why couldn't you just change your fascia on your jeep. Get an 05 front bumper and grille and corner markers and yadda. I mean if you wanna go through that much trouble I do believe it's possible correct? Just like if you had an 05 and you wanted the appearance of an 03... Maybe I'm wrong but I read somewhere it could be done..

yeah, i could change the fascia, i'm just about 100% sure it could be done with relative ease, i wasn't thinkin it through too much at first though

I like the 03 fascia better than the 05 but I like the 05 grill better than the 03, its unfortunate that the difference in the grill is due to the difference in the fascia

i like the under headlight location of aux lights on the 05 grills

i think i'm over it though, what i may do is put an 05 grill on it should i entirely replace the fascia with arb/rl type bumper
