he was pretty fast on the turn around

he does not always have them done and finished waiting on the shelf but got it done in, i don't know, 2 or 3 days at most, he was fast on the return of the core charge too, typical bank wait of 2-3 days

here's his contact info

Dan Arcand
651-245-6469 which is his cell number which he seems to prefer

why do you need an extra?

Definition of core charge is so that you send in your old one when you get the NEW one :P

Core charge, you pay extra up front, he sends you the modified throttlebody

you put it on, put old one in the box along with the label and send it back, when he gets it back he refunds the core charge

well then you'd have to get your own box and pay for the shipping and wouldn't be able to drive your vehicle until the new one got there unless you bought one from a junk yard or something

if you want to avoid paying a core charge by sending it in prior to him sending you the TB then discuss it with him on the phone I don't see why he wouldn't do that, just seems like more trouble for you

Uh simply because this is my DD and I don't have any idea of how to take this off, thats why if I had a spare I could figure out from matching up the holes and all that jazz.. I'm a visual person lol not mechanical persay.. :P

Just pay the additional core charge. Dan will send you the modded throttle body and instructions. You will have the stock tb in place, and the modded tb to look over. If you can install a CAI, you can install the tb. It will probably take you about a half an hour to an hour since your not "mechanical." It's really pretty easy though. Once you're done, just send the old one back and get your core charge back.

It allows for a little better air flow and throttle response.

The TB, I know the spacer is a waste of time. I just did the flowmaster for true 2.5in, and a better intake setup. So at this point thats the only mod left that I could do to fully support a Jet chip and/or free up any restrictions that came from the factory.

I was reading this post, then checked Fastmans website then I got a curious question. I know folks have tried the modified 3.7 TB but has anyone tried his 4.7 TB on a 3.7? If I remember correctly the TB is basically the same other then the bore size?? I'm assuming because the stock 4.7 TB is bigger then the 3.7 stock so the modified would also be bigger.
