I was looking at Jeeps website today and noticed the Sports come with a 3.7L V6 DOHC vs. the Renegade and Limited's 3.7L V6 SOHC. The only other difference is that some have 17 Sequential Multi-Point Injection and some have 18 Sequential Multi-Point Injection, which doesn't mean much to me.

The DOHC version get 15 more hp, but the same amout of torque as the SOHC. The both get 22mpg.
So why has Chrysler got to DOHC, and why is it just on the Sports? I fail to see the logic, but maybe one of you can enlighten me.
