I just bought a HID Kit (DDMTuning) for my 2006 Jeep Liberty Limited. It's 5000K, 35W. I have never put one in before and I was seeing if anyone had any advise, such as placement of the Ballast, or what parts I will have to remove to install the kit. I have not done any work on my Liberty yet. I previously had a 2000 Chevy Cavalier and replaced the headlights and corner lights but this is nothing like a Cavalier, so any help would be greatly appreciated. I will take pictures when I install it. Thanks.

It should just be a matter of removing the grill to gain access to what you need to work on. As far as the ballast goes, there are some flat areas by the battery on the firewall and then back behind the airbox on the other side. If you are worried about heat, take to the radiator supports...

I would be careful about these kits, in the KJs lamp housing The HIDs are probably going to cause hella glare...

if it doesnt cause too much glare I might be interested. But they are still 100% illegal, no matter what anyone will tell you.
