I want to change up my Muffler setup. I have a stocker on there now I had a New MagnaFlow but sold it. My Question is what is the overall length of the Stock Muffler? So I can buy something close

only thing im aware of that is the same length as the stock muffler we have, aftermarket performance type wise.. is nothing at all

the stock muffler was a heck of a gong

it's going to require a section of pipe regardless if you plan to change from the stock muffler

not that that's a big deal, autozone and all those type stores carry sections of pipe

I got a Flowmaster Super 44 and a straight 18in 2.5in exhaust tube (flared at one end. Cut the old muffler out right before the narrow down and clamp the two pieces together and I was done. But being the guy I am I went and had it welded in a week later.

Here is a video I saw and basically mirror'd what he did.

do you get horrible gas mileage?

the dual dumps normally don't provide enough backpressure for the KJ to run at peak power/efficiency

Well evic would confirm that but it is computer measured I type in milage and price of gas and all that when I fill up you can say that variates but for me it does not drive same milage on a weekly basis no difference or variations school and back that's it 90 miles round trip times 5 so 450 miles but to mention I also have a long tall texan cai with these dumps also I get gas on the same tick mark everytime quarter of a tank nothing higher or lower

Oh and maybe my mpg is higher due to 1000 lbs of weight gone stock rims are pretty darn heavy not to mention no spare tire on my ride nor spare bracket and replaced the front header support bracket with plastic instead of that heavy metal hood latch is also the lighter one lots of other do I need to mention stock piping is so much heavier compared to the aftermarket piping? Lol weight reduction stage one complete next step remove all seats except driver and remove the 80 lbs sub and box :D
