For those interested in the dynomax ultraflow. I personally love it, mellow enough for late night drives. I have the complete cat back system and definitely worth the $250. Between the nice looking tip, sound and performance it is a must have for those looking to do more then add just sound.

Thank you for posting the YouTube video and for your earlier post. You didn't comment about the performance of the Dynomax compared with the Flowmaster Super 44 or the stock muffler. In any case, it certainly sounds good! Given that the Super 44 is sold as in indestructible, off-road muffler, it's surprising it corroded so quickly.

Both mufflers made the jeep feel "stronger". The dynomax did improve the jeep over the flow master and added a nice tip. The super 44 I had was not the offroad version, but even then the offroad version is just stronger and not corrosion resistive. If I ever go back to a flowmaster it will have to be stainless steel as 1 year is not long enough for a muffler properly installed and maintained.

Also now that the muffler has some miles on it it seems to have changed a bit sound wise (they always do) and gotten a bit louder. Still not as loud as the flowmaster though and there is no drone on the highway.

The Dynomax catback for the XJ was put on the dyno. A Jeep magazine did a nice write-up on the catback saying that it produced measurable Horsepower and Torque gains over stock. I will be adding one for the XJ and KJ.

Definitely worth the 200ish (got mine for my birthday). Between the k and n fipk and the dynomax ultraflow cat back the jeep sounds and drives very nice. Feels peppy compared to stock even with the much heavy and taller tires. Ill have to post a new video with it "broken in".

Well worth it! Mine still looks pretty good after its first winter, while the flowmaster rotted out within months of installing it. The sound matures very well and the jeep drives like a dream.

I like it!!

Anyone heard or have a clip of the Gybson cat back system for our Jeeps?

I'm back and forth on the Gybson and the Dynomax.

Right now have a Thrush just muffler on mine. Sounds good.
But could use an upgrade plus stock pipes are getting nasty.
