So, If I was to get a PCM flash by B&G, I would want to get a second PCM like a lot of others have done. Will a PCM from any year KJ work? Or do I have to get another PCM for a 2007 KJ? Will a PCM from a KK work?

on the CRD's either year will work - but it must be coded for your engine...
(talk to the GDE guys - they'll probably know what the gassers need too)

the ODO's gotta match too btw otherwise it'll crank and shut right off

to reuse the stock module it would have to be reprog'ed for the new "current" odo reading to work,

it's one of the reasons they usually ask you to send in your actual module, as many have difficulty locating a tech willing to prog the odo

'07's are a oddball and you will need a '07 PCM.Programming the mileage is a whole nother topic which a dealership can not even do,they must send it out the a authorized place to have that done and maybe a touchy issue unless you give them a core back otherwise they will most likely not do it.

Just send your current PCM out and find another ride for a few days, the best way,the cheapest, and most legal.

Thanks TJ. I thought my 07 was the red-headed step child, and was year specific.

So next question. For those of you that have done the tune. Is it really worth it?
