How things have been going with the UG since your last post? I was looking at buying one but have apprehensions in regard to the known issues involving the SG...

did you guys pay $210 for this? Their website says they are only $70 right now... sounds like a good deal?

I prefer using Torque on my Android phone along with my bluetooth OBD II adapter. Cost me about $28 since I already had the phone :)

I have used an UG for about 18 months. Has generally worked well but has given a few false alarms.

They get plugged into the ODB-II port on vehicles made 1996 or after.

That said, I'm getting another one of these for the KJ. I had one in the WJ and one in the oldest ZJ. It saved my skin once in the WJ and I was sold. The stupid power-steering-pump-driven fan (worst design ever) died and I started to overheat. The alarm came on at 225F and I shut it down. It's worth the $60 just to not worry so much about dropping a valve seat the first time the temperature starts to climb.
