OK gang, question here. I have a 2003 Jeep Liberty Limited with a bad 3.7 V-6 engine. Broke several rockers and then broke the camshaft bearing mounts per my mechanic. I have a 2007 3.7 V-6 engine with only 47,000 miles that ran like a top before removed from the wrecked Jeep Liberty it was in. If I change the tone ring on the crankshaft and the camshaft gears to the older ones and blocking of the egr valve on the head will this engine work? My son is waiting on this, as it is his first car, and he got his permit this week. I am on military duty and need some information on this, and will it work? I still have the wrecked 2007 if I need any parts off of it also. Any help would be appreciated, as when I ask most mechanics, they just don't know. |

tjkj2002 would know. but he's in Moab this week (I keep waiting for folks to post pictures) I'm thinking there was a change and they you'll need extra parts to make it work but I'm not sure. |
