on my 02Limited 3.7 @ 95000 miles, comes on at idle occasionally (500rpms),goes off when rpms increase. I suspect that the sensor is bad,the Fsm has says to replace sensor with a gauge and check, oil pick-up screen , pressure relief valve stuck open.Has anyone else had this, and what was the solution? Has anyone installed real gauges on their Liberty, without causing computer troubles? I haven't done any troubleshooting, would be in my driveway and its cold out!
Thanks

Have you tried swapping out the oil pressure switch located above the oil filter
Some folks have had issues and that took care of it.
Use a Mopar part

Thanks Mr. Mudd, I will order one and maybe the weather will clear up by the time it arrives, couldn't be too hard to change out,may be hard to get to. They do have a high failure rate;this is the original one, 02 model!
