on my 02Limited 3.7 @ 95000 miles, comes on at idle occasionally (500rpms),goes off when rpms increase. I suspect that the sensor is bad,the Fsm has says to replace sensor with a gauge and check, oil pick-up screen , pressure relief valve stuck open.Has anyone else had this, and what was the solution? Has anyone installed real gauges on their Liberty, without causing computer troubles? I haven't done any troubleshooting, would be in my driveway and its cold out! Thanks |

Have you tried swapping out the oil pressure switch located above the oil filter Some folks have had issues and that took care of it. Use a Mopar part |

Thanks Mr. Mudd, I will order one and maybe the weather will clear up by the time it arrives, couldn't be too hard to change out,may be hard to get to. They do have a high failure rate;this is the original one, 02 model! |
