Hi, This is my first post, My wife's 2006 liberty have a couple issues. AC compressor bearings when out , making noise. I have replaced AC compressor, recharged and I have noticed an issue during idle and A/C is on. works fine when AC is off. AC Compressor starts kick in and RPM slightly goes up, engine does not stop when compressor is engaged however once compressor disengage, engine RPM drops and seems to hesitate a little and sometime engine completely stops if it can not catch up with sudden RPM drop. Does any body know what may cause this issue or has anybody experiences this problem? THANKS |

I would recommended having a look at the battery and alternator. I had a similar problem and it was caused by the battery. |

x2 on the battery. KJs are very finicky with battery voltage. ALSO - check that you have good grounds and no corrosion on the battery terminals. Of course, check that you have good voltage at the battery and alternator when running. |
