| Post subject: | Flowmaster 50 series |
So I installed a Flowmaster 50 series muffler with cat back exhaust piping. Started off great with a nice growl but after a little bit I started developing a metal ping in the exhaust at certain RPM. I figured it was just the metal wearing in but it has continued over time. The exhaust has roughly 10k miles on it now. Anyone ever have this type of issue before? If so any ideas on how to correct it? I didn't do anything physical to it such as off-roading and catching it on rocks or such but I am worried I may have blown some of the packing loose. I'm just trying to save my money since my next step is a JBA lift. Don't want to have to replace my muffler already. |
