Hello fellow Jeepers!
I'm new to the site as far as posting but have been reading them for some time to help with my 2002 Liberty Sport 4x4 3.7L repairs and mods.
Looking to install a radiator mounted thermostat to engage the electric radiator fan at a lower temp than stock as I live in a hot climate and just reached 100k miles, hopefully extending the life of my beloved Jeep. My questions are: where should I run the hot in run wire from to the new thermostat control box, and can I splice the original control wire with the new control wire to the fan as a backup incase the new (or old) thermostat fails?
I've lost the original owner's manual so the internal fuse box is a guessing game as the cover panel isn't labeled except with numbers.
Any help or advice would be great!

Do that and it will change the way the engine runs due to computer controlling it due to engine temps.
Over 200,000 and no issues
