Have you tried pulling any codes or noticed anything different since you pulled the chip out?

Not sure how to pull codes.
But i do notice that when i accelerate its fine, but when i move my foot off the accelerater. It seems to slow up a hair. As if i tapped the breaks really lightly. Not sure if they are related.

What else could throw that code? I ran some seafoam through my brake line booster a while back. But the light was already on..

Check this post out. Sounds like either a cracked hose for the gas tank or the gas cap.

I also had a trouble code that suggested a small evaporative emissions leak in my 02 liberty, it turned out to be cracked emissions hoses located under the gas tank above the drivers side of the rear axle. After replacing a couple of cracked hoses with napa fuel line I disconected the battery to re-set the computer and the trouble light has not returned.
