Here's another request: I have some small leaks on my '06 CRD and the mechanic says he's clamped down my 140,000+ mileage hoses as best he can. It's time to replace the hoses. I've heard that silicone is the way to go. Can anyone recommend where to get these? I'm hoping I can purchase and then have the mechanic install them. So far, he's been telling me that most of the parts on my 'unusual' car have to come from the dealer. Say it ain't so!

Since you didn't specify which hoses, I figure these are the most likely.
no matter which you need, I strongly recommend using t-clamps rather than worm screw clamps.

Thank you for the info. I apologize for not specifying which hoses. I'm still a newbie diesel driver.
