Hi,

Glad to be here with such a distinguished group of Jeep enthusiasts, those who understand just how great the Liberty is, and have actually driven one off-road before they give their expert testimony . . . !

I've been a college history instructor for six years. I call Colorado my home, but for the past three years have been living part of the year out in Urbana-Champaign finishing my PhD.

I love all kinds of Jeeps and I've lived with them all of my life, since that's just about the only brand my parents would ever buy! I followed suit, and when it came to buying another one last year, I tried a Liberty out and have to say that it is the best all-around Jeep I've ever owned or driven!

I was in Moab this last Spring and drove the Liberty on some of the trails in stock form and it did fine, except for a little too much clanging underneath, so last Fall I installed the Frankenlift and Silent Armors and the difference was night and day. So now I have the bug and a lot of other improvements on the way.

Maybe I'll see you at Badlands later this year!

David

Thanks for the invite,

I'd love to get out there soon, but I'm having that darned front driveshaft noise when in 4WD (separate post), and so I'm trying to avoid shifting it out of 2WD until I get it sorted out. Should be good to go in a couple of weeks.

Grew up in Gunnison and Crested Butte. Lived last in Northeastern Colorado near Sterling. I'll be back out there this Summer. As soon as I finish my PhD, I'm coming back out West to stay.
