Doesn't it have extra trans cooling as well?

The tow package was the one option that I really wanted, but the first Liberty we looked at didn't have it. I figured that it was OK considering the price. But once that particular unit was sold 5 minutes before we arrived :ROTFL: , the dealer was able to find us another unit that was identical except for the addition of the tow group! Strange how things work out like that sometimes. I really wanted a vehicle that I could tow a fair amount with, should the need arise. You never know what could happen! Plus, it never hurts to have extra cooling.

It comes down to an extra fan and now you get a full sized spare tire :P

You would think it would but apparently it doesn't. Here is what it says on the website:

Trailer Tow Class III Group
Towing capacity 5,000 pounds when properly equipped.
Includes:
7-Pin Wiring Harness
7-to-4-Pin Wiring Adaptor
Class III Receiver Hitch Close
Class III receiver hitch has a 2-inch opening and can handle loads of up to 5,000 pounds of gross trailer weight, if a trailer is equipped with a load-equalizing hitch. Check Owner's Manual for hitch types, load capacity and heavy-duty equipment required. Do not exceed rated tow capacity of vehicle as equipped. Towing may require some items not supplied by Mopar®.
Full-Size Spare Tire
Black Steel Spare Wheel
Heavy Duty Engine Cooling
Power Steering Cooler
Trailer Sway Control

We picked up our new Libby today! After "our" Jeep was sold before we could act, it took a 3-way dealer trade (and a left-hand pitcher from the Cleveland Indians) to get a duplicate here from MI. I'm actually glad the first Jeep sold; that allowed us to find one with the towing package. We're very pleased so far with the vehicle and the dealer experience.

I'd like to extend my sincere thanks to the knowledgeable users here at LostJeeps.com for helping us to make the decision. I hope to be a frequent visitor and possibly, in time, help other owners and/or prospective buyers.

Tim
