Yes, Liberties (KJ's) are trail-rated if they have 4wd, but one look at those tires will tell you you're not ready to go run Moab. I guess you could say we are a cult unto ourselves, since we have to stand in the shadow of the Wrangler's off-road reputation. However, a few ($$$
) modifications to your KJ, and she can do the same things a Wrangler can do.
Here are a few attempts at answering your questions:
1.) None that I know of. Why would you want the blocky grill when you can have the curvaciousness of the KJ grill? rowr
2.) Yep. Some here have towed upwards of 7500 lbs, though I wouldn't advise it.
3.) I have a CRD (diesel), so I can't comment on the V-6, but the majority of owners on this forum have the V-6 and seem very happy with it. Check out Tommudd, I think his is an 04 Limited as well.
