Hi everyone, I'm relatively new to the world of 4wd in general and the KJ is my first. Had an eye on them for some time so when it came time to get into a 4wd that was my natural choice. I picked up a silver KJ 2006 CRD and since I got it, I've been busy.
So far I've:
1) Installed a snorkel
2) Installed a nudge bar
3) Installed spotlights
4) Installed roof racks and roof basket
5) Installed (but yet to wire up) LED lamps on the roof basket
6) Several minor repairs and upkeep like new gas struts on my tailgate window, new front brakes, new lower ball joints,
7) Installed diesel tune chip
Tinted the windows
9) installed K&N air filter
Still to go:
1) Lift kit
2) New tyres
3) dual battery
4) timing belt (rather do it sooner rather than later)
I'm really loving the KJ, it's not the best car I've ever owned in terms of power, features, handling but its still the car I've so far enjoyed the most. Look forward to exchanging ideas and getting the advice of everyone here to help improve my KJ well into the future!
