Hi there, new to me 2005 CRD Liberty. I am a turbodiesel fan, starting with a ALH TDI and later a Sprinter and a BMW 328D. Been interested in a liberty since I drove a coworkers CRD about 12 years ago and was impressed with how smooth it was.

I am a retired mechanic and I know how to search so hopefully I will contribute something.

I have reads Sam's CRD noob tips as well as my owner's manual!

What I have not found is what LOST means. I figure it is an acronym for Liberties Only.....or Liberty Owners....
