I need some help with my crd liberty... it was rearended by a reckless driver and want to body swap my jeep it has quarter panel damage and the DMV is making it darn near impossible to re-register it so I was tossing around the option to get a rolling body.... can I use a gasser body and just swap everything?

Short answer is yes you can. Long answer is that you'll need to swap EVERYTHING which can be a big task. Mainly the main wiring engine harness, fuel system, and trans/transfer case.
For the DMV you're going to have to deal with the VIN swap crap.

I just wanted to know if everything from the diesel will bolt up to a gasser I have acces to a 2 post lift as for the dmv stuff I have a 3rd party service that I use so it shouldn't be that bad...I just want my jeep back does it matter the year that I get for the doner vehicle?? And does every single harness have to be swapped over or is there some sub harnesses that can be left in place on the gasser doner??
