Hello everyone! My name is Eric and I am a proud KJ owner as of a few months ago! So far my rig is fairly simple, but am looking forward to as many mods I can do. I live in Tempe, Arizona and love taking it out wheeling. My rig so far:
2006 Liberty Renegade
2.5" Daystar lift in front, with 2.5" Skyjacker coils in rear.
Ranch RSX shocks in rear.

Any Arizonans going out on wheelin trips let me know!

Hey Eric,

Welcome. So who did your lift for you? I got mine lifted recently too, and I had to track someone down that would be willing to do it. They were all afraid of lifting a KJ.

I got the same 2.5" Daystar kit in front and back, and I recently went back to that same shop to have them install extended rear shocks (OME 132L's), but they hooked 'em up wrong and they rattled real bad. I had to take it back the next day to get them to re-adjust them. The rattle is gone, but now it seems like my alignment is off after I took it back! I don't think these guys were too interested in working on a Liberty either.

Just wondering if you did yours yourself or have a different shop that did a good job for you.

I'm also a new AZ member in Phoenix with a couple CRD's and a LJ. We started out with the LJ (TJ Unlimited) that didn't work out for the wife and later bought a cheap high mileage Sport that she prefered over the Wrangler (more civilized). Now we found the wife a nicer lower mileage Limited, so I'm debating setting the Sport up for some 4 wheeling after I work some of the bugs out of it first (see other posts) and probably getting rid of the LJ. I'll definitle be looking to this forum for some advice on a modest KJ lift as a starter.

e010584... welcome!! Check out the AZ LOST JEEPS forum on this board. We try and do one run a month, sometimes more. We also have two big events a year which involve camping if you like that, if not... you can drive up the morning of the run or motel it.

Hope to see you on the trail soon.
