Hi, I am Brian, and just recently joined. We have an 02 Liberty. It is my wife's daily driver, and our weekend adventure vehicle. We use her for geocaching, getting to the trailhead for hikes, and exploring the mountains of Idaho in the summer. In the winter she get's a set of Blizzaks, and is busy taking us skiing on the weekends. I added extra skid plates and some better tires back in 03. We have bounced those skid plates off a lot of rocks over the years. She now has 80,000 miles on the clock. This winter I started noticing a Liberty at work that sat a bit higher than ours. My searches for info on lift kits lead me here. Thanks to all of you for sharing your experiences. It looks like I have a lot of reading to catch up on. The plan for this winter is still in the formative stages. Here is what I am thinking: 2 inch lift and some new shocks rear diff upgrade ( powertrax, maybe?) front brush guard or bumper some recovery hooks. Thanks, Brian |
