My name's Jeff, and I've been lurking on your board for a while now. I've got a fairly good idea of what I want to do to my Jeep after seeing some of your rigs!

I'm a newbie to the Liberty, but not to Jeeps. I've had two Wagoneers, a FULLSIZE Cherokee (NOT an XJ), a CJ8 and a YJ.

Nice place you have here, lots of info!

Nice to have you on board, Ohio can always use more KJ people. What kind of stuff are looking at doing to your jeep?

Haha, I'm not sure. I really like that TrailReady bumper, and the TJM, and the ARB...I like the rock lizard one too but it sounds like there have been some production issues with timeframes, and he's not going to be taking orders when i'm ready to buy anyway :(

For now, I think some 235/85-16 Duratracs on new wheels with old man emu lift and bilstein shocks...basically the same stuff you guys are already doing, figured i would jump in on the fun before the custom fab stuff comes into play!

Yeah thats always good. there are ways to get extra lift too using plates and washers to get an extra inch or so. What kind of wheels are you thinking about getting?

A guy on another site had something I hadn't heard of advertised for sale...something about Dalmation edition? Don't remember exactly. He said he'd email me pictures when he got his new wheels and got the old ones off his tires and stuff.

hmmm. Well cragar or rubicon wheels are usually the trend around here. I'm sure reverend Mud has some you can buy off of him.

HAHAHA... you must have been talking to TBJ. his Dalmation edition means the paint on his silver rims are peeling off so his rims are silver/black.... He's such a dork!!!!
Welcome, there are quite a few people from Ohio, and probably our biggest concentration is right in Dayton. I'm about 30 miles south of ya!
Not sure of the 235/85... super tall tire. I think few people have run them, but had rubbing issues.

ok i was just thinking since ive seen a few people running that size there must be little issue with it.

And is that what that means? it was a guy I saw on another forum, I don't remember, but if they're flaking paint my KJ is too shiny to put that crap on!

Teckman my KJ is a 2005 and i htink the color is kakhi? I don't know exactly what it's called but it's a light tan :) I'll try to get pictures for you.. I really don't want to take pictures of it right now with all the salt and the slush.

I maybe wrong, but I'm thinking people had issues. Wait for the Rev Tommudd to chime in, he's the expert!
I bet you talked to Thunderbirdjunkie, he's the only one I've ever heard of talk about his "dalamation edition" wheels.
"Dork with a snork"... good one Digger. Actually. if he is selling his steel wheels, I need to buy them, need a set for my trailer.
