Hello All,

Picked up my new Liberty one week ago. Traded in my 2008 Patriot. I really liked the Patriot, but it was a little under-powered and had some serious issues over the couple years I owned it. One of those bad luck kind of vechicles. Love the new Liberty!

Specs: 2010 north edition, green, command-trac II, sun roof, satellite radio. I paid sticker price minus about $4k in incentives. Got an excellent trade-in allowance for the patriot. Got the following added in by the dealer: jeep mud flaps, bug guard, heated front seats, U-Connect (the last two to be installed next week). Not counting the trade-in, it was about $35k drive away.

Question: my new jeep has Wrangler ST tires. Next winter I'll be getting x-ice II snow tires. How bad are the ST's for non-winter driving? I've heard some bad things about them through internet reviews, but the reviews are quite old. I don't do any off-roading but a lot of hiway driving.
