Thanks for the welcome guys! I live on the southern end, just outside city limits and almost in fountain (Only had to pay 4.9% sales tax on my jeep :D). If any of the Colorado Springs locals need help anytime, let me know! I have a decent assortment of tools, and a small metal lathe/mill if u need a special tool or part, etc. I should be relatively active on here so just shoot me a PM!

Thought I'd Post some Pics of my jeep and some of the projects I've done:

OFF ROAD IN COLORADO :JEEPIN:

TURBO DIESEL EMBLEMS

REAR FOGLIGHTS (Reverse Activated)

High Beam Override switch, ABS Kill switch, AC Kill switch - High Beam switch allows my dims and fogs to stay on with High beams...more light...FINALLY! ABS switch allows me to disable and re-enable ABS for off road/on road use instantly. AC kill switch allows me to have the defrost on and NOT run the AC and lose fuel economy.

BOOST PRESSURE SENSOR - Finally cleaned it

INTERCOOLER - Original had a hole, I pressure tested new one and installed:

I think thats about it. I didn't take any pics while installing the lift, but it is on in all these pics. :)

I was wondering if someone might ask...and yep :) Cut the mounting pins off it, acetone to get rid of the faded black line, and polished with my buffing wheel, and mounted with heavy duty double sided tape (from Lowes thats made for mounting brass signs on buildings...not gonna fall off). What do you think btw, I was wanting it to stand out, but not look too over the top. I was mainly tired of people asking me why I had such a bad engine knock and having to explain...lol

Heres a before pic where u can see the faded black paint before removal and polishing:

Hey welcome

I like ur Jeep. nice turbo diesel embem from a bendz I would have never thought of that...

I don't get many questions like "why does ur engine knock like that?" I do get funny looks from poeple in parking lots and at filling stations... My coworkers tease me about a rod knocking and are always telling me I better check the oil or something. Funniest time was at this county store in west virgina I pulled up to the diesel pump and proceded to get my fuel like normal. the woman inside wouldn't turn the pump on. She comes out and asks "Rrr you sure you want to be puttin dezzel in that?" I told her yeah cus it sure ain't gonna run on nothing else. she replyes "Ok then I'll turn the pump on Fer ya" then as all the locals that came in while I was filling were all were like "wow is that thing a diesel? I ain't never seen nothing like that"

Yeah, that happens to me EVEN with the TD emblems. ha ha. Once I was filling up in a small town east of Colorado Springs where there is only 1 Diesel pump. A Full size Semi w/trailer was on one side and I was on the other. I was thinking to myself that he must be wondering to himself about me. Just then a 1 Ton Ford power-stroke pulled up behind me looked irritated (like why was i taking the one pump he could get diesel on) until he realized I was actually filling diesel and not unleaded. When I was going in to pay he asked with a smirk...is that really a diesel??? I said yep! and went in to pay. :D

My brother used to live in Colorado Springs, they liked it there and want to go back for a visit. I nver got to go visit them in the few years they lived there because I had went back to school and had no time or $$. Then they move to Key West and I made it there. I think I would love Colorado too.

I got asked about My Jeep at the car wash yesterday. There was a new guy working I never seen before and he had to ask. He never knew there was a diesel Jeep.

To get a diesel in to the US is a pain, plus because of emissions rules, it would have to be a off road vehicle only
